No, Regalia Luxury Organic soap contains absolutely no Sodium Laureth Sulfates (SLS).
All soap—including transparent glycerin—is made using lye. However, all lye is consumed in the saponification and superfatting processes and does not remain in the final product.
A quality organic soap carefully balances the fatty acids that form the base of our soap, making a bar that is durable, soothing and moisturizing.
Fatty acids are part of the molecular makeup of oils and fats—and are one hundred percent natural. During the process by which the organic soap is made, the fatty acids react with the base to make organic soap. And since all our organic soaps are made from organic vegetable oils, you can say the fatty acids are organic as well.
Synthetic ingredients in soap often irritate various skin conditions; as many of our customers have found, using all-natural , organic soaps can minimize redness and itching.
Skin sensitivities are often worsened by the artificial ingredients in lotions, creams, and many commercial soaps made with detergents and other skin irritants.
Organic standards define precisely the minimum requirements that a product should meet in order to be certified organic.’ There are organic standards on national and international levels. For certification of products for export, the standards of the target market or importing country are to be compiled with. Some private labels such as Naturland, Demeter and BIO SUISSE have certain stipulations in addition to the national standards.
Since our soaps are made without artificial ingredients, there is little left to irritate your skin. Many people who have had trouble with determatologist-recommended ‘sensitive skin’ soaps have found success with our organic soaps.
